Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department of Whitley County, Indiana

The department auxiliary was formed in 2006. They are a dedicated group of members who provide a great service to the firefighters and the community. The primary function of the auxiliary is to provide food and drinks to the department during large emergency scenes and scenes during extreme weather conditions. The auxiliary members are on call 24/7 just like the firefighters. They also conduct their own fundraisers along with assisting the department with department fundraisers.
